Meet Maui, a handsome cockatoo looking for his forever home! This distinguished gentleman is deeply bonded to his current family, especially his mom. Maui loves music, dancing, and snacking on fresh fruit. He enjoys being misted and loves spending time outside his cage. He can be moody or territorial, so he needs a patient and understanding owner with previous parrot experience. Maui is looking for a calm, patient, and committed home that understands the unique needs of cockatoos and can give him the love, structure, and attention he truly deserves. He will come with his cage, toys, and bird seed.
Temperament
Deeply bonded to one person. Can be moody or territorial. May display strong or aggressive behaviors if he doesn’t click with someone. Does well with patience, consistency, and respect for his boundaries.
Care Requirements
Needs fresh fruit in addition to bird seed mix. Enjoys being misted with a spray bottle. Needs time outside of his cage. Prefers a detached home due to loud vocalizations.
